Since 1893, when Charles T. Jones and George W. Jones established the company, we have offered the highest level of quality and service.

Towing

We transport barges along the Ohio River and its tributaries utilizing well maintained towboats ranging from 6,000 horsepower to 800 horsepower harbor boats.

Construction

We offer significant marine construction experience in all areas including dredging, stone riverbank erosion protection, pile driving, dock construction, pipeline crossing and much more.

Repair

Amherst Madison Marine Repair Division offers marine repair services (boat/barge repair) from our Gallipolis location, which has 4 dry docks (3,500, 2,300, 2,100, and 2,000-ton capacity).
